...and taking the room out of the equation. And single driver benefits (a single driver speaker with better bass extension than K1000 and good sound is not so cheap). As far as getting a lower THD with cheap speakers versus the K1000, I wouldn't be so sure. Beside such considerations there is their sound, and I love it.

Alright, thanks for posting your opinions on this. Some points are arguable but I get the idea why one would prefer them over speakers.
