akg / customer service is this an oxymoron?

ok. i sent akg 701s back to hector at akg usa monday, by thu. i got a message they were repaired, along with a $35 charge. i contacted hector this morning. if you purchase these, they will not accept email confirmation as purchase confirmation and are very strict about warrantee claims. after speaking with hector about my frustration, he did waive the charge and is sending back repaired. hopefully i will see these in the next couple of days looking like new. anyway i am happy to report there is warrantee sevice here in the states for akg.
