AKG 601 vs. Denon D2000?

After some extensive listening with both, I decided to sell the Denon, and keep the AKG K601.
I like the K601 more. But that's very subjective.

I owned the HD580 and the K601.
The 580 is has a "thicker" sound sig, especially in the bass.
And the 580 is a little bit slower than the K601. The latter has more PRaT.
But with heavy rock, the HD580 has more impact and presense (poundering drums do pounder).
Too my ears, the HD580 are slightly more sibilant.
The K601 are more comfortable to wear.

But those are nuances, they're both great headphones.

That's subjective, I got rid of the D2000s because I felt they had fake, bloated bass.
