What! these are nice cans but are not worth (sonically at least) anywhere near what some have gone for lately. what's going on?? there was just a set sold on fleabay for $325!!! is this nuts, or what!! :

I was watching this auction when it was $3.25. I cannot believe it went for $325.

i checked an hour or so before it ended and was already amazed at the ~$202 it was at. already was a new record over that $180 auction from last year.

yeah, that is nuts. Not only that, but check out that seller's feedback. It looks great at first, but if you look more closely, almost all of them are from the same person, and say the same thing. Then what really weirded me out, was that someone else left him feedback that used the same expression in the comments part as the person who left 95% of his feedback. Seems like some fake feedback to me!

. It's worth noting these are NIB EP Sextetts which are fairly rare.

I thought prices were staying down but I guess they're going back up again. This is Fitz' fault, somehow...

I was also lookin at the auction since it started... I thought I had a chance... but then once it went over 150$, it was getting a little 'over the head'.

I would like a pair of NOS sextetts, but not for 300$.

Buy a used set and change the pads, foam, and elastics which sets you back around $40. Then your set will be good as new.

I lost out in that auction by 25 dollars lol

I was a bit wary of the seller, the feedback was crap considering he has only made 10 transactions and blatantly he just said whatever he wanted, i.e. on a microscope he mentioned no damage, when clearly the pictures showed some damage to the material lining of the box in one place.

The feeling wasn't fully there about him, but to get my hands on some (whether NOS or not) hardly used ep sextetts then I was prepared for $300, and frankly I am amazed I didnt win them at that price.

I made the conscious decision to not bid in the last few seconds, 300 dollars for a pair of sextetts should have gauranteed the purchase and still have over $100 change...

There will be more...., ooohhh the thrill of the chase lol
