Hi just bought a pair of eBay but with a mono jack plug on.checking the wiring and there are three wires red black White as anybody got a pair to check the layout for the pins in a stereo jack.for the moment have put Black to tip and red to pin 2 and White to sleeve to give them a go and they are working but don't know if this is correct any help would be great.

Sorry should say akg k 160 if anybody has got a pair of these if you could look at the jack plug and tell me the layout would be very grateful.

White must be ground  and the other two signal if you are getting sound, I think.  Red is often right, therefore black must be left.
