After-market cable/mic for ue/shure/westone/custom/etc FINALLY!!! - Bo SIR

This is from some brave (very brave) guy called Bo Sir in HK, well known of fixing IEMs or heapdhones, recables etc. After thousands and thousands of requests, I think there we go!
 

 
Choose your own jack, choose your own cables from him (a lot, and you can mix/match), choose your own connector - WHETHER IT IS SHURE, UE, WESTONE, CUSTOM or a recable job done by him on ANY HEADPHONES - you can add a few hundred bucks HKD for a mic!
 
I do not know much about the build quality, sound etc on these, but their prices aren't too high (the one pictured is for 1000HKD I think?) and you even get discounts when buying together with a friend.
 
I think everyone should check his stuff out. In fact I might post some of his other crazy works... E.g. doing a driver implant for a broken ED8? Or adding a shure connector on a Westone 4 to make it a DIY4R?
 
   
 
 
I think its time for me to try a few of his cables with mic.

Why is having a mic on headphones such a big thing now..I REALLY don't see the appeal, cant you just pull out your phone and talk on it like you didnt have headphones in but the incoming sound is coming through your headphones? That's what I do..

It makes it so much easier, for me at least When you don't have free hands to hold your phone? At work/biking/different reasons!
 
And it caught my attention because beats audio is selling one for $250USD.

I guess everyone has a different situation but I personally have never needed one. 
 
Also, do you mean beats is selling a recable? That doesn't sound very promising.

Vese even if you ignore the w/mic part (which was so special for me - coz no one else offered it in the market) or the cable part (oh boy can of worm right there), the fact that bosir can fit your broken TF10 or a UM2 into a new universal shell is still pretty awesome
 
I might be able to find pictures later but I'm pretty sure he has fit a TF10 into a Shure 530/535 shell before, with good results. To me, I never tried any of his stuff. But this brave DIYer deserves to be mentioned. And its to test the water (so people can tell me how's his stuff are like)

I'd avoid Beat audio... it seems to me that they have pretty bad reputation among the chinese hi-fiers..

Prices range around 1000HKD. occ/pure silver would be over 1k while the rest would be around 600. I believe the mic option runs for 200HKD extra.

Yeah so maybe I need to back off a bit, or post a review rather than information of his stuff. Realized I was on the boderline but I still posted it because some members asked for a link of his stuff but he only has a forum and its all in Chinese.
