I want to commend DCA on their great after-sales service. My A2C started cutting out on one side, so they shipped out a new cable the same day. That didn't resolve the issue, so they promptly replaced my headphones with a new pair after I sent mine in.

I find the LCD-XC to be more coherent on the treble region, my A2C is rough.

I felt the upper treble has some extra energy, it did color the sound, but it didn't affect vocals or the presence region in general, no zing no sibilance.

I will order an AEON 2 Closed to listen on the Hugo2.
I'm wondering if I can order the VIVO cable at the same time.

I will use the combo mainly in the train so the VIVO would be with the 3.5mm termination to have the small length of 1.1m.

Yup! You should be able to select the cable at checkout. It’s cheaper than buying by itself. I have the Vivo 4.4 cable and really like it.

I'm located in France where there is no reseller. I contacted the German distributor and there is no price for the purchase of the combo. It's the sum of the two, in euros: 973 for the Aeon2 + 320 for the Vivo.

The headphone is in stock but the cable must be ordered.

Mmm, now that's something interesting.

It came out of the blue, too.

I'm quite a fan of the Dan Clark Audio headphones (AEON 2 Closed, Ether C Flow 1.1), so the Noir has shot to the top of my "To Try" list.
