Hi guys looking for some advice and suggestions on a Protable Amp/DAC option. I'm currently considering either the RSA Predator or Intruder and wondered if anyone could recommend anything else?
This will be used mainly with IEM's so I am looking for something that is dead quite with no background hiss. It would be used in the following combinations:
AK120 - Portable Amp - DreamEarz AUD-8x
Laptop - Portable Amp/Dac - DreamEarz AUD-8x
When used with the Laptop (in the office / at home) I would be using JRiver MC18 with a combination of 16/44 and Hi Res Files or Spotify streaming at 320Kbs
The AK120 doesnt really need an amp so I suppose its mainly for laptop use, and in this case would I get any benefit over using the AK120 as a DAC??
