ADEL™ Drum Earbuds
Aug 24, 2022 at 1:18 PM Post #331 of 338
I had never heard of these drum earbud things until I ran across this thread in a search. I actually used to have a pair of 64Audio IEMs with the ADEL modules, but ended up not liking the modules much. Anyways, not to bring up a potentially bad subject, but did any of you ever find out what happened, get any updates, or hear anything at all since the last update mentioned on this thread? I'm just curious after having reas through some of this stuff and reading the propaganda/advertising on the Asius website I found through a couple Google searches.

Wow! So no one ever got anything in exchange for the cash invested? Not even the discount with InEarz that people mentioned earlier in the thread?

That I don't know.
I was lucky enough to get my money back in time.

It was a interesting project unfortunately without any consumer product.

I still have my 64 Audio U8 with ADEL filters. Great pair of IEM's for me. To bad the prices went through the roof since for their products. No way I'm going to pay that for a set of in-ears.

I also still have my 64Audio A10 with Adel and love them.
I believe in the technology and that’s why I jumped into the project unfortunately this happened.

I'm sorry that this didn't turn out the way you guys had hoped. I was reading what I could find about the Drum earbuds when I stumbled across them the other day and they are certainly intriguing. If they had pulled off in an usable production bud what the technology promised it really seems like it might have been a bit of a game changer.

Anyways, I'm sorry for bringing up a sore subject, but thanks again for answering. Maybe someday a company with the resources to develop the Drum earbuds properly will pick up the technology and make them a reality. Assuming it works the way it was claimed to, I wouldn't be at all surprised if we see a transducer using the principles and/or designs that went into this attempt.

The guy from ASIUS technologies who invented the ADEL modules is full of air and false promises. He ran that campaign without having a finalized product, burned through $$ raised from the Indiegogo campaign. He then provided some fake updates claiming that the earbuds were being made, that it was a slow process to assemble, etc. Those updates were later deleted and they never provided further updates or said sorry, we won't deliver anything. Instead he went quiet and went on to work with Inearz only after 64 Audio ditched them. 64 Audio and Fir Audio came out with better versions similar to the ADEL modules that work better and were more consistent and implemented it through their line up. I'd say if you want to try the tech, give them a shot. I'd stay away from Inearz or any company that does business w/ Asius Technologies knowing that they had cheated defrauded other people.
