Getting the feeling that Astell and Kern completely gave up on this DAP... Look how sparse the answers about software issues went so far.

I am wondering if this player is being made any more. It is not available on Amazon.com or Amazon.ca. There have been no posts from the rep. I hate when this happens. Seems a common situation with the Korean brands. I had an Opus 2 a few years back. They just disappeared. I'll play it till it quits and then replace it with another make I guess.

I do not have the date for the next firmware update yet. I asked for an update and will share when the team is back in the office next week.

Hi Jason any luck finding out about the next firmware update? Will it be possible to play tracks downloaded from Tidal onto an SD card?

Now I see the problem. The Activo P1 sold through Amazon Canada arrives here through Amazon US. Canada has no tariffs on Korea but the US does. Astell and Kern should sell the P1 through the dealer network already established in Canada, but they should already know that.
