Where are you located? If you live in UK you can contact npaudio.boards.net and I am sure he can offer you a replacement battery, he can even change the battery or parts for you. Great service and great guy!

HI,
I'm not based in UK. I'm living in France.
At this stage I do not need to have my battery replaced but was just wondering if I could find a way to do it just in case. I did it recently with my Ipod Gen 3, that works like a charm now (But clearly with a quality level far far behind my AR M2).
Anyway, thanks a lot for the advice.

Hi guys... Which player you think sounds better? Ar player, or ar player pro...I hear a difference in comparison side by side. Ar player more transparent, tight, but thin in mids, especial vocal range.. Ar player pro sounds thicker, vocal have more body... It sounds like on a high gain... But lacks some transparent... What you think?

Personally I prefer the original player more than the pro, but both sound good. I guess it depends on how you like the music and what iems/headphones you use

I also prefer the original player, but when using HD800S. More airy (more space between instruments) to my ears, overall more wide/spacious to me.

But with other headphones/iem when equalizer is needed, I use the Ar player Pro.

It is to bad that the original player can not browse by artist, genre, album and folder correctly.

What do you think about ar-m2 with Hd800s. My shure srh1540 and sennheiser hd 650 with a ar-m2 is a great synergy

I agree with Reshen.

However, musically speaking, my best combo for the HD800S is with an old hifiman-801.
Still unbeattable to my ears (musically and emotionnally speaking) but I did not test a lot of DAPs.

I mostly use the AR-M2 with other cans that need sound adjustments (ATW-5000, or other portable cans), or low gain amplifier.

Does this connect with an optical cable? I'm trying to connect with the iDsd BL DAC but can't figure out how...

also, is it normal to have shaking parts in the device? Feels like the battery is moving about when I tilt the device
