There are two versions of Tomahawk - one of them with a huge "diamond". Consider as a gift.

  today's discovery. my qian39 possibly have better extended highs, better midrange. tad wider stage and better LAYERING than my TY 320 ohm. which is INSANE for the price. I'm listening on my desktop setup with high gains.
 
SO, whats the general consensus qian 39 vs 25 again?

 
for me the qian25 is more neutral while 39 is more extended and fun to listen. both is not bad.
 

 
I hate strong bass while @vapman loves it. Yet, we can both like E808+ which has strong bass.
He hates Ty Hi-Z 32, while I like it. Yet, Ty Hi-Z 32 has the closest sound signature to E808+.
 
It confusing, even for "experts", so don't worry too much about wrong choices.
You will get there, just hope the money doesn't run out before then.

  I wonder if the Colarad headphone sounds the same as the Ty HI-Z 32? I bought the Colarad... I'm trying to buy at least one pair for every brand so I can let people know my thoughts to better their own decisions in the future.

Both Colorad and HP32R is more extended compared HP32. means more Vshaped.

They were $39.07.  I didn't realize that I was ordering the jeweled type; I was looking for some and that was the page Google linked to.  I like them a lot; they have a big soundstage and sound great across all frequencies.
 
I don't have a lot of earbuds, but of what I do have I would rank them:
Tomahawk > Monk + >Boarseman MX98s> Blue Ever Blue 328R > TY Hi-Z 32ohm > Boarseman MX98
Your mileage may vary,

and I do appreciate that for the price of the Tomahawks I could have 7 colors of Monks.

**** Pt15 (silver cable)	-even though clearest in highs can get a nice thump out of kick -reacts well -good soundstage	-handles layers of sound well -euphoria comes through -not so impressive except for euphoric feeling, cant hear mid and low detail	-thin -clear -actor voices pop out a bit too much -too much high end	6/8/10	6/10/10	hard to get the a good fit, a tad bit big, heavy (could be my cable), experimentation with more foams , rubbers and hooks could benefit, good with eq in my experience -often seems just to high end focused and not enough bottom	$15 (may be more after sales end)	7

Powerful euphoria from low end -handles bass best, but perhaps too thumpy -good all around	-nice thump -perhaps the low slightly overpowers everything, making the general movie listening a bit unpleasant	10/6/6	6/6/6	-beuatiful fit, perhaps better than pk2	$4	8
Yuin Pk2	Beuatiful natural balance and 3d-ness right away, something special -super tight mids with a bit of low end -maybe too midcentric -clear detailed highs, smoother than pt15	-mids come out -nice soundstage compared to others -lows not the clearest	-beautiful soundstage/3dness - loud and flat in mid around human voice range, too much, not good, if could cut back would be fantastic -bass is not overpowering, but punchy/tight and good, not boomy, perhaps too subtle, depends on mood	7/7/8	7/7/8	-great fit -plug very small and easy to break, most delicate pair of earbuds I own  I’d say -there is some magic in the pk2s that I have not been able to explain… I think it is that they are rarely intrusive and have this shimmering, silkiness, no, I cant explain, but still, I rarely reach for them	$50	5
Boaseman MX98 (not ‘s’, red shells)	-Insanely Active -Frequencies clutter with each other -Loud and aggressive -Powerful Bass, mids, and highs are also there -very loud, very full	-everything sounds soft suddenly -not the clearest -too much clutter between soft and mid and high don’t pop through -powerful	-chewy mids -bass/mid bass clutters movie sound	can’t say, its like everything at once.bass strong, mids strong, highs there, I dunno,crazy clutter. 9/9/9 in some sense, in some sense 4/4/4	5/4/9	-crazy weird earphones, when I first heard them I thought they were amazing but then they were just too much for me, its like all levels set to 10, fatiguing with so much energy all the time, also , things get cluttered with all that activity	$15	6
Faeal 64 ohm (v2, pink cable) **POLARITY WAS OFF AT TIME OF TESTING POORLY WIRED***	-sounds like am radio, though with mid bass -no ultra low -flat like cardboard -muffled around  low mids/lows -too mid and doesn’t put out elsewhere	-Can hear a lot, just very displeasing sound sig -veiled low mids, or distorted -displeasing -certain 3d-ness, perhaps soundstage, is good, but sound sig not pleasing	lame, suck, muffled	borring/bad 4/6/4	4/6/6	-cable crinkles and rubs against shell (annoying microphonics) -tried eqing and did not find it receptive	$10	2**THE POLARITY OF THESE WAS OFF AT TIME OF TESTING, MISWIRED AT FACTORY*

I just tested and it seems the wiring on my Fareal 64ohm earbuds is off. The polarity is wrong. I am editing the above chart.

Thanks, I bought the one with the white cable. I didn't buy the brown cable because it reminds me of KTZ headphones.
