Is it just me, or does anyone else sometimes find it hard to choose a smiley to suit the sentiment behind the plain text?
In other forums I've been a member of, there have been a whole range of different emotions to choose from - not just 15 different smiles, 4 winks, a couple of sad faces, etc.

Couldn't we get some more on the board, so I can be sure my intended tone is understood by anyone reading my posts? Please?

We slowly get more smilies around here.
Lost most of them during the outtake last year, and have been getting some of them back the last coupe of months. There may be more coming..

Am I the only one who misses the "stoic" smiley?
It always made me laugh, but I don't know why

Where do you get them and what software do you use? I have tried a couple and always get some kinda spyware/malware in the process.
To answer the OP's Q, yea, bring on all the smilies and emoticons you can, the more the better, as I have trouble finding the right one for some situations also.

I use PhotoShop CS3 for the fine editing (mostly pixel by pixel) than compile the final GIF file with Ulead GIF Animator. Both cost quite a bit. Before I got those software, my choice of free software is MS Paint + GIMP + Beneton Movie GIF.

Regardless of how you feel about Patrick, I think there is no deny that he is a real character on extreme tweaking.
