That would be great! There are so many iems coming out almost daily to the point of exhaustion. How do these companies survive. I would like to see the Aehta compared to the new Penon Voltage.

AÜR AUDIO IEMs

They survive because they leave themselves a huge profit margin per IEM, relative to cost of parts, in a lot of cases. There are so many iems coming out almost daily to the point of exhaustion. How do these companies survive. I would like to see the Aehta compared to the new Penon Voltage.
For example, the lowest entry cost for a regarded EST tribrid set is about $450. That isn’t their break-even cost though. So if you’re paying $1000 for a different tribrid set (even if it has better components in it), the profit margin is going to be good enough.
Another consideration is supply/demand. Using Aür as an example, it’s my anecdotal presumption that one reason prices are set where they are is to help control demand. They can’t set Aür IEM prices lower and have Nicholas keep up with demand if he’s the sole builder of the IEMs. They’re too popular and he’d have to make IEM building his full time job or people would wait 3 months for a set.
Hope that helps with some perspective ideas.

The market is a lot bigger now. Especially in Asia. Disposable income is also much higher compared to a decade or two ago.
Time for some listening again

Anyone cabled rolled the Aetha? I used the effect audio griffin and it opened up a serious amount of staging.
I just found a bunch of raw cables I bought a long time ago and forgot. Gonna get them made and give it a go on the Aehta.

Those names, lol. They sound like weed strains.Anyone cabled rolled the Aetha? I used the effect audio griffin and it opened up a serious amount of staging.

A new companion to Aehta with matching colours and musical abilities. Compared to just using Hiby RS8, the Dethonray Listening M1 expands Aehta's soundstage with better depth and offers more clarity and transparency.

It's how Toxic Cables name their stuff. Likely inspired by Australian wildlife. Those names, lol. They sound like weed strains.

Hoping to see your comparison with Sound Rhyme DTE900.
That one is sold, don't wanna go off memory.Hoping to see your comparison with Sound Rhyme DTE900.
Saw this from the facebook group.Haven't had that much time yet with Aehta, but I can say I really like this. No need to brain adjustment, liked it from first track. Biggest surprise to me is how clear and resolving it is, quite certain this is the most clear and resolving model from AüR.
I know some dont like switches, but they work so well here. Being able to go from a more neutral bright tuning 011 to a bassy L shaped signature 100 is awesome, makes it so versatile. So far my go to have been 111, full sounding and fun. Can share more again tomorrow, maybe do some short comparisons.
Cable below is not stock cable, its Worker Bee from Flash Acoustic.
AÜR AUDIO should pay you consultancy fees for helping them with cable matching

Received my Aur Neon Pro yesterday. Promptly attached stock cable and began one week break in. I have an Effect Cademus cable to use if it’s better than stock.
Please share your cable rolling recommendations with the Neon Pro

Stock cable is also not bad, soft and light. But is still a cheaper type of cable.

Do not need to break in Neon Pro since it is an all BA IEM. I wondered about the great sound yesterday when I hooked it up for break in. I have not bought an all BA IEM in a while.
