Is there anyone who has both the Timeless and Hidizs S9 Pro? How is the pairing?

I got a Tripowin Nucool balanced cable for mine. It's a mix of SPC and OFC strands. I think it's subtly improved my Timeless, though I'm not sure whether that's more the move to balanced, the metals in this cable, or just that I switched away from the stock cable. Some pages back somebody mentioned that the stock cable has an unreasonably high capacitance for a cable of its length.Anyone tried rolling better cables on the Timeless?
The biggest reason I went looking for a new cable was that my skin oils eventually turn every cable stiff, and I was already feeling the stock cable getting a little stiff just 2 weeks in. I picked mainly on what looked good and like it was going to be comfortable.

This IEM definitely deserves more attention. Even after only about 10 hours I have noticed an improvement in sound quality, and they were already shockingly good out of the box.
If the Timeless can gain more traction, a Mark 2 version with maybe the tuning tweaked a hair warmer would definitely be on my shopping list. I really think they're onto something as a strong baseline with this IEM. With luck they could very possibly leverage this design into a "pro" lineup with some better cables, tips, and maybe a slightly more extended nozzle.

Check out the whole Pink Floyd collection in HD on Qobuz. Quite a few albums in 192/24 there! 7Hz does a magnificent job with it, as expected.
"From the iconic Dark Side of the Moon to The Wall to Wish You Were Here, all of Pink Floyd's greatest albums are finally available in 24-Bit Hi-Res quality.
The recordings of Roger Waters and David Gilmour's band have always been a benchmark in the field of sound recording. This must-have sound is now finally available in its full extent."

Timeless plus iFi Hip DAC 2, a fantastic set-up for the office. Plug and play with corporate laptops, amazing sound quality for less than $400 all up!
These IEMs are causing quite the stir lately. If I may ask, is there anything in particular you like about them connected to hip-dac 2?
Stay updated on iFi audio at their sponsor profile on Head-Fi.

Uncanny how close Timeless and PM-3 sound! I know they're both planars but still... I would say though that the little ones have better soundstage.

Love the XBass option with Timeless! The low end comes alive without noticeable distortion. They don't need a lot of power but scale very well with more juice and the Hip DAC 2 has that in spades. These IEMs are causing quite the stir lately. Just got my 2nd set in a moment ago... after returning first one due to channel imbalance. So far so good. I would order this IEM over, and over, and over again if each previous set happened to have some sort of QC issue (certainly hope that is not the case for 7Hz!). But have to burn in all over again, oh well.

Drop just emailed me to tell me their Timeless drop was delayed. Damn you, Covid-related supply chain delays!
