What is the dB reduction with the custom ear plugs and are they good for mowing grass? I wear glasses and custom would be better as long as sweat doesn’t harm it.

Thanks! I would definitely do the -26dB. I wear glasses and ear muffs have to seal over them. Foam plugs don’t work as well.

How would these do at a gun range? I cant stand the big over the top style ear muffs.

It would depend on the caliber you shoot. There are noise canceling ear muffs that are very good.

As a guy who shoots on occasion this seems half true. They aren't noise cancelling, they are electronic hearing protection that uses microphones to amplify sound under 85 dB, while blocking sounds passively like normal ear muffs do. It's good for having a friend at the range, or able to hear range officer commands.

Personally I double up at indoor ranges. I like foam or custom electronic plugs (it's like a hearing aid that blocks noise), and I put electronic hearing muffs over those.

Outdoor range? -26dB is ok
Indoor range? -26dB is ok per range rules where I go, yet foam plugs may not be allowed. I'd double up though. I had a muff break in the range. Luckily I had foam plugs underneath and was able to walk out without panic or damage to my hearing.
