$6 million... i think my speaker setup cost me around $270 for speakers, wires, amp, and DAC...

As impressive as the equipment is in and of itself, I think that the mish-mash way it is thrown together wouldn't result in something I would enjoy too much. I recently took three speakers out of my 5.1 system to make it good old fashioned stereo; I can't even imagine how cluttered 8.8 would sound! There have to be some accoustic laws that are being broken with this thing... phase problems and things of that nature.
