325 golden? The 325i is gold anodized aluminum, with larger, heavier cups and updated drivers. The 325 is silver aluminum and no longer in production, as is the earlier 325 which had black aluminum cups. I have the 325i and had the silver 325. I like the new one, it has better imaging and soundstage and is not as bright sounding. needs a good amp though.

Yes; if you're seeing gold cups, it's the 325i; silver, it's the 325, which is out of production. 325i, for me, is a marvelous headphone.

But thing are quite diffrent in Chinese market where the grado 325 family include black 325,silver325,gold325 and 325i. I don't know if the gold325 and the 325i means the same one.

As far as I know, Grado only made black and silver 325's. The 325i's are golden. I obviously can't promise you that the 'gold 325s' are 325i's, but I can't imagine they are anything else, unless they were a DIY project. Are the gold 325's significantly cheaper than 325i's?

325i is a little bit more expensive than gold325.someone who used both of them said that the sound of 325i is more balanced and less aggresive

325i = Golden color Grado w/rounded edges!

325 = Siver colored Grado!
