I am new to good quality sound although I have dreamed about it for years. Mostly listened to my Ipod Classic through m50.
Just a few days ago I bought WM1A (shout out to tenedosian for awesome buying experience) and in a couple more weeks I'm gonna buy Focal Clears. Now the Focals have only 3 meter cable for the balanced driving, my question is, do any of you have any experience with walking around a 3m cable while using your DAPs?
Should I send the cable to some professionals to shorten it to 1.2? If so who would be able to do such a job?
Should I buy a separate cable from a third party manufacturer?
I've read that the focals have some inventive cable attachment method to the cans, does it mean that I can only use focal cables for a reliable connection the the cans?
BTW does anyone have 4 pin XLR to 4.4mm adaptor?
