Hi guys, add one more local to the list. I'm bringing Red Wine Audio's top-O-line Audeze Edition...

1) RWA Audeze Edition amp/dac
2) Pure i20 digital dock (run off battery power from Audeze Edition)
3) LCD-2 rev2's.

Those with (preferably uncompressed) music on their iPod / iPhone should be able to plug and play their tunes.

Here's a link on headfi re the system: http://www.head-fi.org/t/572939/review-red-wine-audio-audeze-edition-balanced-headphone-amplifier-dac-combo

Thanks, Kent

Space Question. Asking for input.

We should have 9-10 tables available and dedicated for us hobbyists who are bringing their goodies to set up and share in the main room. We also will have available, to those who want more privacy, a smaller separate room with 7 more tables available. Do you think this will be sufficient space for the people bringing there own stuff to set up and show?

In addition to us hobbyists we will have the manufacturers and retailers in the first section of the Ballroom so we will all be in the same general area. The rest of the room will be for the vinyl/CD exhibitors. Does this sound OK? Please post or PM me with any comments or suggestions you may have.

Also, don't forget to bring extension cords and power strips. We will have some but probably not enough for everyone so please bring them if you can for yourself and others to share.

Not many. I have had a rather disappointing response from the turntable industry. I think Ron of Liquid HiFi may bring one. I don't think Drew plans to but perhaps we can "apply" some pressure if a few of us send him an email. I would bring mine but it is just to risky and complicated. Hopefully, some of the attendees will be able to bring a few. That would be great.

Any idea if someone from ALO is coming. I know they are based in Oregon so they may not be able to make the trip. I was just wondering because they have there RxMKIII on their site now just curious if we could get a glimpse. I can't decide between it or the SR71b that I heard a prototype of at Canjam last year.

Also, I am told one of the attendees will bring his souped up Denon DP80.

"Maybe try Roy Hall?"

I tried twice but with no response either way. Same thing with VPI and Basis and a couple of others. I even suggested, in an email, that they could perhaps have a rep or one of their dealers attend if not too far away. Unfortunately, with no response it was difficult to negotiate any further. :)

I imagine they have their own good reasons not to attend or respond back to someone that is trying to help promote their product line. I find it difficult to understand when a manufacturer has an opportunity to have an audience with several hundred people highly interested in their product that they don't have some interest to try and have a presence at some level. I know these shows have expenses for them and it takes manpower but a live audience to see, feel, and hear your products just seems to good to pass up to me. I guess I don't quite get it. Perhaps we are not large enough and I do understand that, but the courtesy of no response at all....hmmmmm   Oh well.

All the more reason that I applaud those who have been so generous in many ways in supporting ours and others events. I specifically refer to:
Ray Samuels
Jack Woo
Drew Baird
Fang
Craig Sanborn
Ron Buffington

These are the people that help get small events to the next level and without them we would be nowhere. Thank you gentlemen.

"Hows (Who's) idea was that:) I think he should bring one...."

Ummm, I have no idea but he should probably be tar and feathered.
Actually, I would love to bring mine but it is a Micro Seiki with the suction pump. A little complex and with too much involved to tear down and set up while trying to also make sure everything else is going smoothly for the event. If I weren't the organizer I would be happy to bring it.
