  Do you have tinnitus asymcon?

I hope not. I mean I do hear something close to brown noise when everything else is dead quiet, especially in basement. But this could be due to atmospheric pressure. At night up in the mountains, it usually disappears.

I'll have to have a re-listen, but I think the Monk reminds me of a tiny HE-400.  Of course it's not going to push bass like the HE-400 can, but it's still very impressive it can push as much as it does for an earbud, although the foam certainly helps create a seal in order for that to happen.  Without it, the bass dropped out significantly for me.  While the MX985 is certainly technically superior...  the Monk is bloody fun to listen to.

is it possible to order extra foam pads?
They'll disintegrate with time as all of my foam pads did so far.

they arent available at the moment, you should wait up for a while, Lee&Co. should have more within the next 10-14 days (at most!), the price will be changed to 5$ when that happens (from what I last read and understood :>)

they are in stock, but i think they be 5 usd without changing price

I am very much in conflict

if I list them as 5usd then some people might just pay and get the AE shipping , which might be getting better , but I can not say anything for sure

if I don't list them as 5usd

then I will adjusting prices forever and ever.....

there is no win in this kind of situation.

Cheers

Is the Mrice E100 the same as the Baldoor E100? They certainly look the same, but from what I read in the Earbuds thread, the "newer" versions of the E100 (I am assuming this is the Mrice one, not Baldoor anymore) isn't as good as the old version. Is this correct?

I personally love the E100, I usually rotate between these and the Dasetn MC5.

Maaan, finally some love for Dasetn MC5. I'm so salty Dasetn closed down and I can't order any MC5. I had to throw away my pair because I broke them.

I bought Monks in hopes that they could replace MC5 as my favorite earbuds, but unfortunately, the Monk's sound signature doesn't excite me as much. Don't get me wrong though, they are my most fun earbuds right now but I'm still looking for a replacement for MC5.

I also wish I knew where to get authentic good sounding E100 - everyone's saying the new batches aren't as good and I still have old Baldoors and they certainly don't sound so good as some say. My pair of Baldoor E100 sound really really sibilant.

I do not understand the AE system much, but can you do something like: List it for 5USD. As before, with large fonts, say that unless they contact you, they cannot get ePacket. Some will choose to contact you and some with go via AE shipping and experience YMMV. At least, it would reduce your burden by a reasonable bit, If this is feasible?

After all, we all want you to work on your product and innovate - not to toil with price adjustments? :)

Is aliexpress shipping method mandatory? Maybe you can stick with HongKong and Chinese post and ask $2 for HongKong post and $5 for ePacket-able countries. I think this would be the most logical move. Just remove aliexpress shipping method from all your products.

Do you use your E100 with foams? I got some Earhoox for them a while back since they don't fit my ears that well and I was hoping the Earhoox would help with that. They did the job, but with the Earhoox, I couldn't use the foams and found the sound really sibilant. I had to go back to just using foams and keep them as a home pair. Although golov did recommend the new E100's over the old ones, so maybe you should give them a try?

And ya it's really a shame that Dasetn is gone, I loved the MC5 and their DIY PK2. I didn't even get a chance to try their more expensive pairs which had really good reviews too.

Hmm...I can't remember if I used them with foams. Guess I'll try both of your suggestions - foams and buying mrice.

I have the same problem only in my left ear, but I fixed my E100 fit with Earhoox in this way: image -- I insert the large Earhoox on "bell" and fit normally, omg... these buds disappear after this.

I just got the Monks yesterday and it was awesome except I don't seem to be getting any good bass. I'm not sure if they are supposed to sound like this or there is something wrong with my pair.
