My Benchmark for Ear buds only goes as far as the MDR888lp but that's as far as I need to go as I loved that sound. sadly mine were just used until they stopped working ( think my sister had something to do with that) I have been chasing the same sound or at least that same experience since then... would I be crazy in thinking the Monk could sound close to that? the price difference is enormous, I have to scale for inflation but yeah still massive.

I just searched this thread for blood orange and came up with a few posts. They want so many points for it now... I will never have that many points. So it's not just the money. They are gorgeous though. As the Monk Plus shell is a bit big for me I will not be getting them. Loving the Monk Lite fit.

They are available as one of the options under Monk Plus. $50 plus 5000 points. A few days ago it was only 2500 points.

Isn't some of this stuff meant to be collectors items? At the moment I am happy with what I have.
