That is old numbers and it´s always harder to stay on the top then get there. Blake is younger hungrier and hasn´t worn out quite as much as Bolt yet.
Not saying I would be chocked if Bolt would take it lol

I was watching fencing the other day and have decided that that's a great sport to watch. Lots of scoring, quick matches, cool helmets, fairly easy to follow. Plus it's an actual duel.

The honest truth is that it was significantly worse and lower-scale than Beijing 2008, but seriously, what do you expect? Democratic countries just don't waste the taxpayer's money.

It doesn't even have to do with the politics of the country. I can tell you know that the U.K more or less has socialistic policies with a capitalistic democratic economic system. The U.S spends taxpayers money like "fwap fwap fwap" easily sending it out. and in the PRC, many things are not actually taxed. Tax's have become more commonplace today than the near non existency years past but they are mainly targeted at the petite bourgeosis and especially the national bourgeosis. (the middle class and company owners).

It's funny how online I'm reading so many comments comparing London 2012 to Beijing 2008, and saying how it was so much smaller in scale and cheaper in budget. However, if UK actually did something as grand as Beijing 2008, their current Prime Minister would obviously not be re-elected again for mindlessly throwing away money taxpayers worked so hard for - and paid to the government to spend with care.

With China you don't even know how much tax you're paying. How can one say it's "not taxed" when the government doesn't even tell you how much tax you're paying? But then again, no one is in a position to say anything bad about China's government, especially if you're living there yourself and don't want to be arrested.

Haha I agree with that. Spend too little and you ruin you country's honor, spend too much and you get lynched.

I put it more as of, that the Chinese are simple. We are really simple, it doesn't really do too much for the majority of simpletons there. We don't have a developed luxurious middle class. Just still a lot of people americans would believe are from the 50s.

I am no fan I am absolutely neutral. I don´t know either of them. they can use steroids for all I know. there is like a 75 % chance that a 100 m world record holder will get a 2 year off for steroid use. I just predict the outcome´.

As for wasting money since when is 40 million euro or what it´s supposed to go cheap on an opening ceremony??? Nobody in the right mind will judge an olympics by the opening ceremony anyway. I don´t remember anything about Beijing ceremony to be honest. Not even how the fire was lit :)
