I like a lot of the music on this list, and i can tell you are a hip hop fan. I really didn't enjoy the new clipse album that much apart from the first track freedom i think and champion.

I also bought the new between the buried and me and passion pit manners on sale at target. I have to say good stuff!!

Ya i can agree on the Clipse, def not as great as Lord Willin, but Popular Demand is hot.

Young Money was dope as hell, and Eminems EP is worth the money, especially if you dont have Relapse already.

And Future Shop & Best Buy lied about Rebirth in their ad this week (i knew it got pushed back, but still tried to cop it).

O ya forgot about Meth & Red- Blackout 2. I would say Rakims new album, but i aint heard it yet.

Wasn't aware of that, thanks.

This “colour” or “shade” of varying tone, with quick changes of tempo and rhythm creates an interesting but well integrated album with plenty of passion. The lyrics are thought provoking, deep and relevant to the music and refreshingly, lacking any cheesiness.

"As the winter winds litter London with lonely hearts
The warmth in your eyes swept me into your arms
Was it love or fear of the cold that led us through the night
For every kiss your beauty trumped my doubt"

Album of the year condender.

I took a punt on this one (Mumford & Sons - Sigh No More) following your post & having checked out a few samples online. Just received it today & I agree it's a superb album with lots going on. I'll definitely be spinning this one a lot over the holidays. Cheers.

I'll also add another excellent cd I picked up recently....

Jesca Hoop - Hunting My Dress

I'll add Russian Circles' Geneva to the already great mentions. Granted, it's the only album of theirs that I've listened to. Getting more plays than Pelican's newest.
