Are these headphones over or on ear?

It depends on the size of your ears. They are sold as over ears, but they do touch at least part of the ear on many people.

Inbetween, depends on the size of your ears.
More like on-ear.

I like the sound, comfort is so-so.

The pads are soft, but the tweeter sticks out and, depending on the shape of your ears, can cause discomfortable spot pressure.
The workaround is to wear them reversed left-right, while replugging the cables to keep the sides audiowise correct.
But the sound is better if worn as intended.

All correct. And in addition, replacing the pads greatly enhances the comfort (and doesn't degrade the sound much if at all).

Here's my measurement of the 1More Triple Driver Over Ear, silver version.
HD6xx (=HD650) for comparison.
Measurement on a copy of my own ear, compensated.
Watch out for the fine scale of 1dB/line.
I rather listen to headphones, than watch graphs, and what is this graph trying to say? After months of listening I can tell now , it's surely way different headphones that ever heard , it's not for everyday listening after all those weeks, I'd still pick sony ma900 more often , but due to better sound isolation with different type of earpads tested, h1707 wins me from time to time , sometimes i hear aweful rumbling and gets distorted on some of my bassy songs, in movies sub bass is more revealing than on ma900, movies become very engaging, in fps games you can pin point where the steps or bullets coming from, but often it feels foggy, not clear as with ma900, (for movies h1707 > ma900, for gaming ma900 > g pro 2018 > h1707 , for music ma900 > h1707 ). Also, it's closed back vs open back.. so a bit harsh comparison, hah

what type of amp would you recommend for this? I mainly want to get one because the high's don't go quite as attractive on a phone compared to a PC. I want to be able to hear the clarity and fullness with my phone as well. I also want to go for a budget one. I have the graphene driver(titanium one) and a Samsung Note 5

After 2 years and an half with these HP I'm considering to buy an open back one.
Any advice for an improvement wrt 1MTDOE?
I'm considering Sennheiser HD58X or HD6XX. Could these represent an improvement in the bass/lower mids area without sacrificing 1MTDOE mids & highs, presence, clarity & detail?
What else I can consider below 350€ ?

Buy grado. You wouldn't regret it. I recommend rs2e or hemp if you stretch your budget a little, and if not go for the sr225e. The sr325e sounds tinny and harsh so don't bother. Make sure you buy some g cushions as well.
Or else buy hifiman sundara or the new 5xx.
Philips fidelio x3 is also really nice
And finally also consider the sivga phoenix

Hello, I have these headphones a few days and I have a problem, when there's hard hitting bass they make some weird noises (I think from the passive radiators), anyone has ever experienced similar problem? What I should do to fix that???

I don’t have that issue. I love the bass from these headphones. You might have a faulty set. Or a loose screw somewhere in there that’s causing the sound.

I just notice this also happens to my AKG K550 so I think It isn't the headphones but the EQ, when I elevate the bass..
Could be clipping perhaps? What kind of noise are you hearing?

exactly issue with my refurbished h1707, i almost prepared to open them, but scared to ruin anything, as i like these headphones still, for sound isolation, when neighbours walking too loud and smashing doors in corridor, lol, also all earpads of the world fits these, cable is replaceable, i like it a lot. Cut off headband, and replaced with this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/Replacemen...+cushion&qid=1604656363&s=electronics&sr=1-10 , now it's good, previous headband looked too fragile and cheap. Also my latest 100mm earpads (inner: around 49-55mm):
