My U8 are having some problems.

On right side unit, the mid range of drivers are not working but the rest are, which to say the least makes the pair unusable.  Ive tired with different cables and sources.

Ive emailed 64audio, hopefully I get replay by monday.

The unit was bought one the adele model clearance sale.

It's under warranty, and they'll take care of you. Don't worry. Just make sure you specify you want the same ADEL-size port as before.

Really? I would have thought they'd be more or less equal in bass quantity.

As for me, I find Opus#2 gives the U12 a nice boost in the treble area, while also being just as full and rich as I'm used to with the AK120II.

Try using an impedance adapter if you need Treble boost

I'm thinking about building one, as I doubt there is a good one for 2.5mm balanced.

I assume you meant your U8 has no bass at all at this moment since it needs to be repaired...correct?
