Jejeje, I play games. But i'm not very good and don't play all that often (I probably spend more time watching movies or driving to and from uni/work). In any case my gamerscore on xbox live is around 8000 to 9000. Damn I love Far Cry 2, though once again when I play multiplayer I often use the flame thrower or grenade launcher and wait for someone to run around the corner. Yeah, i'm one of those cheap annoying bastards.

Such a classic arcade game. Can't say I've done the same, but this makes me want to break out my dreamcast. That and NBA Showtime / Jam.

The only game I can say that I was really good at was Freelancer. I started multiplayer on the Crossfire server, and I proved to be an exceptional pilot. In my first system/roleplay battle, I somehow managed to score over half of the total kills of the battle (and I wasn't flying against complete n00bs, either). Unfortunately once the 1.7 mod came out, everything went downhill from there. About a year later I left the server, and have never gone back.

Oddly enough, I have never found the same level of success in any other multiplayer game that I had in Freelancer. I can only guess that this is most likely due to the fact that the games I have been playing require a different skill set altogether.

I must say one of the major reasons I do the wait for someone to walk around the corner with a flamethrower thing is that I find many people use the some two or three routes on the same map so once they die, you know where to go and wait for them. It makes for some very fun and easy kills, though I must say if that's all I did I would deserve a big slap.

I remember playing COD5, and the leader was basically untouchable by everyone but me, sadly however everyone else was killing me with ease. It was a bit odd imo.

Anyway, any suggestions for what the best FPS game is for the 360 for multiplayer purposes. I was thinking of picking up COD4, as that seems to always be raved about yet I have never played it.

If a player refuses to take a different route after being killed by the same person numerous times in the same spot, then quite honestly there is no hope for them. Most players would have the common sense to take a different route to either avoid you or to try and kill you.

Yes, I can see how that would be a bit strange. You keep killing the mighty leader, yet all the lesser players slaughter you. Hows that for irony?

Sweet! How long did it take you? I got the highest score in a game I made too called TSO (Tap Spacebar Once).
