I have finally decided on my pair of AT W100s today

Its still running in........

I just want to say at this point that this is the most musical pair of headphones I have ever heard.....

I begin to feel that my Senn HD497 sounded artificial in the midrange especially when reproducing pianos but anyway it was unfair comparison

Right now it is being driven directly from my Sony DJ-50s. The W100 needs a converter for 1/4 inch to 1/8 inch jack....is the grado converter a good choice?

Waiting for my CHA47 amp to arrive

Know of anyone who has the Grado plug for a good price? I didn't even know the W100 was a 1/4 plug, lol. WAY TO RESEARCH!!

14.95 may not be the best price, but it is certainly the going rate.

i just bought mine last Saturday for that much. it is nice, feels good quality, and was highly recommended

As owner of a blued Corda HA-1 I'm not glad about 1/4" plugs. My Grados now all have 1/8" plugs soldered on them. I wonder if no one else has that idea... all people seem to be enthusiastic about those Grado adapters.

Hmmm... soldered... the idea crossed my mind but the cable / plug on the W100's are just so sexy.

We'll see what happens. I think for temporary use, I'm going to have to use this $2 piece of **** adapter I bought at Radioshack a long time ago.
