You guys take a week to reply to a email. I wonder how many months it'll take to do a cable upgrade...
And I thought I was giving it hard to EA yesterday...
Just be aware it's not the same materials as the 2.5mm Psquared. I asked about this but this is all I could muster...
Is the PSquared Pentaconn jack the same Palladium and Platinum design as the 2.5mm version? Can you speak to the differences between PSquared Pentaconn and 2.5mm please.
Eric: Thank you for your interest in our products. The P-EA (Pentaconn) 4.4mm is not a Palladium / Platinum design. It's a upgraded 4.4mm over the regular ones.

I understand it’s upgraded. My question was asking for the differences between it and 2.5mm. Hoping you can give me more than, it’s better.
Eric: As they are different connectors, between 2.5mm and 4.4mm. I don’t really know where to start explaining the difference. Meanwhile if you’re referring the the normal 4.4 against the P-EA 4.4, the upgraded one has a lusher sound with blacker background.

I then decided that if all I'm going to get out of this is that it's 2.5mm, not 4.4mm, I clearly won't be purchasing...and now that it isn't my money, I figure I should bring light to this.

Considering my questioning was quite clear, to say I was not impressed with the answers I received would mostly be blowing bubblegum up everybody's ass. In fact, I kinda thought about sending Eric a Mr. Rogers salute of my own. I instead found comfort in watching "Panda Needs a Personal Day." I imagine an answer is on it's way shortly now. No hard feeling Eric @EffectAudio, and FYI my posts are usually over-the-top, but I do hope you can see why I felt your answers were subpar.

Hello NaiveSound,

Apologies if we have been slow in response in replying your email. I would understand your frustration for sending in an inquiry with no response - for that i sincerely apologies. I usually try to reply the mails within 24-48 hours unless in cases where i have to fly to China for attending trade shows. I'm unable to access our gmail without a VPN over at that area as Gmail is banned over there. Hope for your kind understanding.

-Eric

I would not do business anymore with these guys, my recent experiences are also very bad.

Hello Chupa,

Would appreciate if you could share more. I hope to know where have we faulted and how can we improve in the future.

I believe you have the wrong thread Sir :deadhorse::deadhorse:
I don't think so, my post is pertinent to this thread.

First of all, i placed an order for 2 8 wire upgrades, one Ares and one Eros.
Second, all the posts on this thread (except the ones from Eric) are about complains therefore i wanted to share my positive experience not only with Eric, but with the whole company.
Last but not least, there are a couple of people here that enjoy to throw trash on others more than bringing some interesting arguments to the discussion.

I also have positive experiences with EA, as do the majority of their other customers. I asked ahead of time for a certain connector with a pre-ordered cable, and my request was met without a hitch.

If you had a bad experience, let them know so they can make an effort to correct themselves. If not, you're only blowing hot air and wasting your breath.

Just don't ask what it's made out of is all @EffectAudio None of this is directed at you @San Man...

They clearly are a company we can trust and I'll be happily purchasing from them during their B8WUP but that's only if I can ever get out of Eric what the hell their optional $50 P-EA Pentaconn is made out of.

I have zero ideas as to how they think can charge the same $50 that their Palladium/Platinum costs, yet can't be bothered to know what material it is.

What's hilarious to me is that I'm actually alone on this. Folks clearly have zero issue handing over $50 for a connector that, other than branding/aesthetics, EA can't say is any different than their included 4.4mm connector.

Going on four chances I've given them now, including one email where I asked twice. Every time I get the ring-around - see post #4
