I actually like Ayase in S1 more. She was the riaju friend, her struggles, her care for Kirino and her actions ad a result, and her growth as a person was second only to Kirino.

S2 She just reverted into part of Harem, the serious-but-polite-imouto.

That was definately nice
 
 
But I like the 'real' stuff that went on in S2 after all that was left behind them. 

  Whoa I haven't even watched it yet and I already know Kuroneko is best Oreimo. 
 
On a related note, how does the anime hold up to the manga? I downloaded it ages ago but haven't gotten around to watching it yet. I found the mango too short and anti-climactic.

Oreimo is a shortening of the title and so it feels like you can include the name into something like 'Mio the best one of K-On' but its not. The title can't be used as an object sadly
 
Never read the manga....I believe the manga is based off the anime...so just watch the anime.

If you're a into high and mighty, ultra-chuuni, and is an M. Sure.

Manga is drawn by an artist that used to draw h-doujins. So the manga is more erotic than the anime, more blushing too. Anime delivers the story better

Just finished Gensou no Idea -Oratorio Phantasm Historia- over the course of 7 months, as a result I don't really get the main plot 7/10.
Phew~ this was a long game... Rae TL is working on an English patch right now.
 

 
The game has a linear plotline so I really had to play every single 'route'.

Well there are one for each main heroine so 4 total, but there are epilogs for each heroine which I haven't played yet so probably more there.
