My school has Gigabit Fiber, but it uses switches to limit it to 100/100.
 
Technically, if you can lay down the fiber line, you can make Gigabit happen at little increase in cost.

Seems like a pretty good deal. I don't keep up with AMD cards till recently but judging by it's rankings seems like a pretty decent card, especially for the price.

I wonder if I should wait and see if there are any independence day deals later this week though? Hmm...
