Oddly enough I didn't have any issues with my 360 version.  I need to rebuy this game.  Don't remember why I sold it.

It works quite well if you do it by the instructions.
 
I use the iPhone app called "Jammer"
 
You need noise isolating headphones, and to turn the volume up. And then you need to spend about 3 mins to find the delay that makes you sound as stupid as possible (the app records you as you talk)

They were handing out the t-shirts for free since they had a whole bunch leftover on Sunday. If you don't know what Highschool of the Dead is, the t-shirt is actually pretty cool. It's like The Walking Dead (faux scientific paper on the back) and Left 4 Dead (logo on the front) or something.

Looks really really cool....
But I guess I'll buy Bayonetta first. It's not even remotely as long as VC, it's cheaper and I haven't played a proper character action game in many years.
