Hmmmm interesting, I can only connect at 867Mbps because the laptop only supports 2x2, but it seems most routers top out at ~500Mbps anyway on the 5GHz downlink even though they're capable of "1300", it must be overhead or marketing fluff then. *scratch that, their attenuation tests are with a 2x2 device too, hrmm.
 
My result of ~240Mbps is middle of the road, not too bad considering it is wifi>wifi through two walls each, I can rest easy knowing that I didn't screw something up.

Btw, wifi > Wifi can change a lot when latency increases due to the nature of ionization of air and the nature of su-mimo
