A little surprised here. With the stock tubes EH6SN7, I find my LC has better bass slam than the LG (Using the Omni/Code-X). Those tubes are said to sound just very plain and analytical and sometimes even a little bright.

The best tubes for bass on the magical Liquid Glass is the RCA clear top 6cg8. The best tubes for soundstage is CBS HYPTRON 12sn7gt. And there are lots and lots of tubes for you to try out lol. The Crimson is a great amp especially for those who do not want to go down the rabbit hole called tube rolling. But to me the Liquid Glass has a better, wixer s ound stage. It is also more detailed and natural sounding. And when you pair the Liquid Glass with a great DAC like the Yggdrasil, the resulting synergy is truly intoxicating, like a audio based opiate. Please have a good one, I would write more but I am drained, my hernia is hurting and I can not concentrate..
