anyone remember what they used to play the music to play into i believe some ath portables? it was some sliom rectangle thing which looked kinda like a voice recorder, i really cant describe it, i wonder if anyone remembers ;/

Any good recommendations?  Is this even a good idea?  Wouldn't the phone circuitry add noise and degrade the performance of the mp3 player?  What do you guys think?

I am currently using a dell studio 1737, hooked up to a samsung T240HD via HDMI, on my monitor. When I plug my headphones directly into the monitor, do I lose any sound quality over plugging them directly into my laptop?

How do Samsung mp3 players sound?  Do they have better quality sound than Sony?  I have x1051, and just curious.

A little late, but Dell also has samsung p3 for $99.99.  Its 8GB, a touch screen mp3 player with FLAC support.  No wi-fi :( but still, at its price range, it doesnt compete with the ipod touch, but the nano.    Link...
