    I have a chance to get the EAR HP4 at a great price, but I wanted to ask if anybody here has had a chance to compare this amp with the EC Zana Deux or the TTVJ 307A.

    Best Amp in a smallest footprint

    I am looking for recommendations for the best possible amp I can get that will take up the least amount of space (height doesn't matter).  I really liked the Woo 5's at Can Jam, but the things are just too damn big.  I already have a HUGE 2 channel rig, and a "big" headphone amp will not work.  ...

    I got the HP4 recently. Beside its main function as a headphone amp, can it double up as a preamp? Or do I need to get a preamp to link into the HP4 before linking it to a power amp then to the speakers?   I see a button on the left of the amp called power amp which can be turned on or off...
