Fantastic review...thank you! You painted a pretty detailed sonic picture. I'm on the cusp of ordering...my financial ducks are almost in a row, and your review makes it easier to take the plunge without being able to hear them myself...thank you!

Thanks for the review. I think I've made the right choice now. Deciding between Atticus/Eikon is a good headache to have!

Great stuff, very intrigued by these and I may just have read what I needed to to make the buy. What's keeping my reserve is the fact that the MDR-Z1R burned a hole in my audio wallet and it seems the tuning has similarities while the Z1R is half the weight.

Good review. I'm curious about these, especially because of the fifty millimeter biocellulose diaphragm driver, which besides the look is something that brings the R10 to memory.  I do not like their impedance tho, considerably less versatile since they won't be all that easy to drive.

Given the size and weight of these headphones I don't see anyone using them with their smart phones. I like the 300 Ohm impedance. Makes them sound sublime with desktop rigs.

Great review - pleasure to read it.  :D dang why nothing like this is under 500$

Even though these don't seem to be geared toward portability, there are some viable "transportable" options that should work well, such as Mojo & Ifi Micro iDSD....at least I hope so...that's the route I'm hoping to take.
