New Head-Fier
Pros: Solid bass, clear mids and highs, exactly how a good set of earbuds should sound.
Cons: Eventually broke
I have had many headphones over the years and always preferred bass heavy models. My problem has been finding an audiophile grade headphone, that have a very solid and present bass effect, for around $300 or less. I can't bring myself to spend more than on headphones than I would on a new pistol. While these headphones lasted, they were my favorite compared to Sony Studio Monitors, Sennheiser IE60 earbuds, and Dr. Dre Powerbeats earbuds. The ultimate ears provided clear highs that brought a smile, and bass I could just about feel that brought a big grin. I was very pressed until after a few years use, the plastic housing for the earbuds started falling apart, and despite a few home repairs, they are now in my junk drawer. Getting help/support through Logitech (they bought out UE) has been futile.
