New Head-Fier
Pros: Small, simple, delivers
Cons: Can't think of any
I bought one of these b/c I recently discovered Spotify and didn't want to be tethered to my 2.1 system or my rack stereo while I was working at home on my laptop. Ordered it, received it, opened the box, skipped the manual (naturally), plugged it in, and -- BANG!! -- music playing over my sound system. I didn't even have to install the software. It took me longer to open the box and unpackage the unit than to set it up. And the sound quality is great, even w/o the X-Fi application, which I haven't bothered to install, let alone explore.

N.B.: I am running Windows 7. I hear that people running XP may have to download a different driver, b/c they get system sounds but not other audio sounds. That's what I hear.
