absolutely rubbish, I loved these iems until the V Moda Vibes were on sale from V Moda and i bought one for 15 bucks as a back up iem.
 
and the 15 bucks V Modas turned out to be better than the Bose!!
 
i will never buy Bose again.

These are the bassiest things ever, i have to EQ them to have less bass.
 
the mids and highs are also very good

This is awesome for bass but the mids and treble isnt the best...
 
try to get the 2nd gen, the sound isnt improved but the design is a lot better than the 1st

and btw, try to get the 2nd edition because its a lot better than the 1st one, not the sound, the design of the cord, 3.5mm jack, etc
