New Head-Fier
Pros: Retro looks, Lightweight, open sound signature, Made in the USA
Cons: Somewhat fragile, impractical for public usage, uncomfortable after long periods
Simply put, these headphones are one the best values in the audio world. They've praised time after time, and I now know why. These are my 2nd pair of quality grade headphones (after the V6), and can safely say I won't be putting these away anytime soon. The low impedance allows usage on both the home rig and portable devices.

I'm not an expert on sound signature with the highs, lows and mids, but perhaps the most contrasting feature in comparison to the V6 is the bass/low end response. Maybe it's the open-back design, but the low end isn't as powerful as the V6. It does, however, excel in Treble response.

I might be just jumping on the Grado bandwagon, but believe me when I say that for under $100, the value the SR60's give are truly unbeatable.

If they're uncomfortable you can bend the head band to your liking, they are all day phones in my book, once I got the band bent to my liking.
The bass isn't for bass heads, but great if you want to hear the whole sound spectrum without anything overwhelmed by the bass. Too me, the bass is perfect and when I crank it up it actually thumps. Not on the level of Dre's but then I still don't lose any midrange.

I've had mine for ten months now and eventually the band gets conformed to your head shape. They just kind of hang out up there now without much drama. Don't try wearing them with glasses though :/

New Head-Fier
Pros: Netural sound, Folds for portability, coiled cord, comfortable for lengthy listening sessions, cord out one side
Cons: Coil heavy for on-the-go usage, exposed wiring subjected to accidental fray/tear, earpads flake easily
One of the best investments I've ever made.

I picked these up in B&H New York to replace my previous set, Sony MDR V150.

It's been six months since then, I can safely say that these headphones won't be leaving me anytime soon. The sound quality is neutral, as expected from Studio Monitors. The build quality is sturdy, with a thick coil for durability.

Although purely subjective, I found that burning these headphones in changed the sound signature dramatically in comparison to their coming out of the box sound.

Pick these up, whether you're for a new set of cans, or if you just want a backup pair.

Hey, nice short review. from the V150 to the V6 was a big leap in soundquality. I think the V6 is kind at its pricerange, I dont think they are quite neutral though, but a good headphone nevertheless. and they are quite resistant, my father had a pair that lasted about 11 years.

Pros: Friendly interface, easy to use, 3rd party potential
Cons: Battery life degrades over time, standard buds subpar, sound quality average
I purchased this with money saved over during the '09 winter. As with all Apple Products, iTunes is required in order to activate the product. This could be seen as a pro or con, depending on your preferences.

The iPhone operating system runs smoothly, and displays itself clearly and neatly to the user. It's ease of use allows those who have never used a touch screen device to quickly become accustomed to it. Applications are available from a vast amount of developers on the App store, and can quickly transform your device into a one-of-a-kind object. The option to "jailbreak" the device further increases its appeal.

I think that the device, however, is subpar in audio output. Compared to my other MP3 players, the bass lacks, and the treble can prove harsh when played loud. The ear-buds that come with the iPod are laughable, and should be used as a backup to your primary headgear. Battery life tends to decrease over time, so like other electronics, should only be charged when near dying.

Overall, the product is exceptional in both entertainment and style, but lets down on audio output.
