koss ksc's, overhype?
Well, perhaps you have bigger pockets, but I'd never consider putting the KSC75's in my jeans. I'm sure they'd get crushed in no time. However, I do regularly put my iPod in my shirt or jacket pocket along with the 75's. Each of these phones are about 2" in diameter and 1" thick. Food for...- Eurastus

koss ksc's, overhype?
I've owned the 35's for a couple of years now and received a new pair of 75's today. I agree that the 75's are more comfortable. The clear rubber clips are much easier on the ears and can easily be bent to fit just right. The 35's are much harder, at least for me, to get a good fit without...- Eurastus

KSC9 - New Koss Sportclip Stereophones
All, I received a pair of KOSS KSC9 and KSC75 phones in the mail this afternoon. Well, the 9's sure are lightweight, I'll give 'em that. The cable itself is the very lightest I've ever seen on a headphone...even thinner and apparently more fragile than any ear-buds I've ever worn. The...- Eurastus

KSC9 - New Koss Sportclip Stereophones
I received an e-mail from KOSS for 25% off my next order; I'd been thinking I need a pair of KSC-75 for exercising duty anyway. I saw the new KSC-9 phones so, for $10 I though I'd give 'em a try too. $26.24 for the 75's and 9's together. That seems like a bargain. I'll let y'all know how the...- Eurastus

Answers to your Eddie Current questions!
OK...here's my impressions after a whoppin' 30 minutes (well, 60 now as I write this...no, now 90 minutes...gotta' get back to work) of John Klemmer (Touch) and Diana Krall (All for You). I only have a Meier Audio Corda HA-1 (the original) to compare it to; I'm not a big amp owner like some...- Eurastus

Answers to your Eddie Current questions!
I received a FedEx tracking number Friday evening from Craig. According to fedex.com this morning, It's made it's way from Burbank to LA over the weekend; I'm supposed to receive it on Wednesday. After this long, I can wait a few more days... But I've got the spot cleaned off on my desk...- Eurastus

Two sources to one amp input. Problems?
Wye Not indeed? Based on my admittedly limited electronics knowledge and the .pdf file, this Rane solution looks to solve my problem. Thoughts? Besides that, it's very easy to build...- Eurastus

Advice with multiple PC Sound Cards and a single amp input
Yea, I wanted a digital input on the Revo. I had actually intended on purchasing a Mad Dog Entertainer 7.1 (which does have an optical in) when I went to the store, but saw the Revo at only $10 more then the Mad Dog. I understand that the Revo is a better card, so I skipped the Mag Dog...- Eurastus

Two sources to one amp input. Problems?
Hmm...Well, so it's not a good idea. Disconnected already and set back to the way it was before (Audigy output to Revo input-> Revo out to amp). The reason I didn't want a switch-box is that I wanted to mix the signals. I want to listen to the music out of the Revo and also get the beeps and...- Eurastus

Two sources to one amp input. Problems?
I posted this over on the "Sources Forum", but since the question also involves the amp...here it is again. Here's the story... Discovered Head-Fi several months ago and have now spent way too much money (old story, I know ). I'm now the proud owner of: 1) HD-650 (couldn't be more...- Eurastus

Eddie Current HD 300 order page is up
A couple of hours ago, I ordered one with all the options as a birthday present for...me. I've got a pair of 580's and 650's just waiting for a smooth tube sound. We'll see how it goes. Now I hope I can forget about it untill it shows up--otherwise I'll drive myself crazy waiting.- Eurastus

M-Audio Revolution 7.1 at CompUSA for $78
I was browsing my local CompUSA and noticed they has a stack of M-Audio Revolution 7.1 cards on mark-down for $78. I grabbed one and split. It's not advertised on their on-line site, so I don't know if it's a national price or not, but thought I'd mention it just the same...- Eurastus

Lordy!! Why did I waste my money!!
I posted this last night in the HeadRoom Forum, but thought it might well be appropriate for all... I had a revelation yesterday afternoon. You see, I ordered a pair of HD650's from Jamey at HeadRoom a couple of weeks ago and they showed up rather unexpectedly. I've been using a pair of...- Eurastus

Foobar & CDDB--Am I just an idiot or what?
Well, I finally traded in my 580's for 650's and can't believe the difference. Lordy!! Should have gone straight for the 650's and not wasted my $$ on the 580's, I'll tell you that!! At any rate, with the 580's I really couldn't hear any difference between listening to CD's in Foobar and the...- Eurastus
