Well, as usual, I've just been hit with dealer dry up. I've just been told the phones I ordered are not all coming so now I'm back scrambling to track down more phones :mad: It would have been nice if they told me at the time I ordered them. This is driving me nuts!

Ack! oh man.... :eek: Ok, pads, the Stax pads are still the most comfy of them all which for some is the deciding factor, also, they still sound extremely nice. The Audeze pads are a little bigger but not ridiculously so. The phones look fine with them so no need to worry about looks.

It's basically applying a strip of foam tape around the underside of the pads, I use a specific type of foam which is designed as a non slip pad for tools as it's thin, flexible and stick like crazy. It's also about $30 a roll and I go through a lot of it.

Updated pad info on post #166 New LCD2 Rev 2 pads, as good as originals. The Beyer velour pads come in black or silver.
