Chinese / Asian Brand Info Thread (On or Over Ear Headphones)

I used the Takstar pro 82 for a while, but now one side had stopped working. So I'm looking to buy open backs now. Any good chi fi open back options that punch way above their weight? I bought the Philips Shp 9500 and sold it. It was good but somehow I didn't like it that much. Else I'll up my...

I have been a long time member here and i frequently keep reading up on the headphones and iem section. I have bought a few. Something that i have no knowledge of is Dac and amp. Takstar Pro 82/GM200 Review, impressions and discussion thread

I've owned the takstar hi 2050 earlier and i thought they were quite good. The bass could be a little tighter and the mids a bit forward. But i loved the airiness and clarity in them. How do the pro 82 and boss b8 sound compared to that.

Takstar Pro 82/GM200 Review, impressions and discussion thread

Any idea how these compare sound wise to the Hifiman He4xx which are available on massdrop. I read that the 4xx is similar to 400i. I was looking at either the Pro 82, 4xx or the Bosshifi B8. The music i mostly listen to is classic rock. Bands like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple so i like...

Amp for Cowon D2 under $60

The e10 will definitely not work for me because it uses USB for input and neither my nexus nor cowon have that option. I can't even go for the used amps because I stay in India. The amps I mentioned are the ones which are locally available. So just wanted to know if the e11 would improve the sq...

Amp for Cowon D2 under $60

I am using the Cowon D2 player since years and i am quite happy with the sound quality. Recently i bought a nexus 5. The sound quality on that is quite good but the volume is very low. So i have been thinking of buying a portable amplifier for that.    The headphones i use are Takstar Hifi...

Review: the Cyclone PR1 Pro - Another $50 bang/buck heavyweight

Ok i think i am finally going for the PR1. I started off with $50 budget to fit in the koss ksc75 and IEM. So paying $90 + $15( koss ksc75) has overshot my budget. I will save up and probably buy em in 6 months ( hopefully they will be even more cheaper or something else which is better than re0...

Review: the Cyclone PR1 Pro - Another $50 bang/buck heavyweight

Well i almost pulled the trigger on the cyclones today and even tried to pay but it seems my credit card limit has maxed out for the month. So i guess i can order now on the 1st. Which leaves me again thinking and again getting confused over my choice. And now i might be tempted to buy the RE0...

Review: the Cyclone PR1 Pro - Another $50 bang/buck heavyweight

Ok that comparision was gr8. My budget was around 50 for the iems and another 15 for a koss ksc75 ( my sennheiser px100 broke recently ) . So even when on discount the RE0 were a little out of my budget but then i thought mebbe i could stretch it a little and get the ksc75 later. But now i guess...
