Wow, I've only been burning in my iMod Jumbo Cryo dock for about 100 hours and it already sounds sweet, another 400 hours and I will probably never leave the house again... Then I'll have to burn in the Auricap dock after that... I really have to stop buying stuff for a while and properly break...

I'd take a look at the UE 5Pro's if I were you. Very decent headphone for the price and the cables are replacable. Also comes with a case to store these in so they are better protected from whatever you're doing to your Ety's...

Unless you count the $5 Subway sub for lunch today, the most recent audio related item I've purchased was the Qables Silver-Cab-Pro LOD Cable for my iPod.

I would second (or third or fourth, I've lost count) the notion that the SE530's are a HUGE upgrade over the E3's. The technology has evolved greatly and the SE's are truly a step above everything that has come before from Shure.
