RSA **Predator** A review in stages ** With some "NEW" images on 1st and page 64 . . .
I love my RSA predator, but quick question. did the printing on the top of your predator start to wear off fairly quickly? from being in and out of my pocket i guess some of the letters started to wear off and i didn't like the way it looked so i took the rest of the logo off with an alcohol...- msfarley

High Priced Line-Outs and the Ipod Classic. A Waste?
I got an ALO Cryo Dock today and I think it sounds better than the one I was using that I got with my minibox: Head-Direct.com But maybe it is just my imagination wanting to believe that an $85 cable should sound better... -
Moola in the "Portable Rig"
Isn't it kind of sad that my home setup cost less than my portable rig? $700 receiver/amp and $250 speakers. Sounds great though. Anyone in the market for some bookshelf speakers should check out the paradigm atoms!- msfarley

RSA **Predator** A review in stages ** With some "NEW" images on 1st and page 64 . . .
I just got a Predator with black face/silver body. What a gorgeous little thing. It sounds great through a line out on my ipod touch but when i hooked up the USB for the first time last night and listened to apple lossless through my grado sr-225s.... WHOA!!! Is it just me or does that sound...- msfarley

I just picked up a pair of SR-225s for a great price, and they are effin awesome. You should try them out. You should be able to get them for way less than your price range. I'm posting this b/c the last post pointed out that there are grado-haters....- msfarley

Grado SR225 Thread
I have been letting my new 225s burn in all weekend, and listening to them they already sound great! There is a big improvement in detail over the SR-60s. How long until they are fully burned in do you think? Thx.- msfarley

Subway Headphones
Livewires... cheap customs but will provide comfort, isolation, and great sound quality. I use them in the NYC subway every day. Whenever I am in the subway without them, I'm reminded how effin loud it is down there!- msfarley

How did they do this!!
Enjoy the SR-60s, I only had mine for a month or so and I am already upgrading to the SR-225s. I'm sure it won't be long before I am looking for some RS-1 or 2's. D'OHHHHHHH!- msfarley

The FreQ Custom IEMs - Impressions Thread (Updates on First Page!)
Is it just my imagination or do the Livewires use the same drivers as the Ety E4's? I think I read somewhere that they are Knowles Acoustics. Any idea what kind of drivers are in the new freqs?- msfarley

haha, no they are in the correct ears, but since the cables are detachable you could hook them up to the wrong side. they don't come attached from livewires so you have to figure it out the first time.- msfarley

Shure SE530's + iPod Touch
After I got the SE530's I started ripping in Apple Lossless because the lower quality stuff started bothering me. I am using a Minibox-E+ amp with the SE530s and Livewires, it is very small and for $150 sounds great.- msfarley

Livewires - California Dreamin'
I am listening from an ipod touch line out to a minibox-e+, and they are pretty quiet. any backround noise is completely unnoticeable once the music starts. Don't forget that the quality of your music collection makes a big difference too with such sensitive phones! I have been ripping cd's only...- msfarley

The FreQ Custom IEMs - Impressions Thread (Updates on First Page!)
From the pictures it looks like each driver has its own tube to the opening, which is the same with the drivers in the livewires. Livewires says that this helps with phase coherence, so that the music gets mixed in your ear and the frequencies don't cancel each other out. +1 on the finding a...- msfarley
