I've reverted to 1.07 and it's been fine sofar. 1.072 is just not worth the hassle as it stands now, if they do another update and make sd scanning optional I may reconsider.

Download the update file from their website. Extract the files (it includes instructions). Take the dat file, put it on your micro sd card and then update from the player's settings menu.

It's not just turning it on, when I try to charge it the green battery indicator doesn't come on unless I press the restart button.

@AuneAudio Ever since I updated my firmware to 1.072 the player has become unresponsive every time I turn it off or charge it until I press the reset button. Could I please have access to the dat file it shipped with, I believe it's 1.065 as that was stable for me. Thanks in advance.

Just a warning to anyone that has a lot of tracks, it looks like the limit is 40,000 when I shuffle all it always displays that number, and I have plenty of files not being read by the player.

Hi, I have just received the m1p, I have currently got 46000 tracks in my collection and it is taking 4 minutes to scan them each time I boot up. Could you include an option to not scan on boot up in the settings menu, thanks for your time.
