So very sorry to hear of the loss of quas. I'm sure she lived the best life with you guys. Having lost 21 and 17 year old fur babies in the past 18 months I know how hard it is to go through. I still cry like a baby when I think of my dear boy Kami we lost recently, he was my best mate. It gets...- OceansRise

Focal Elegia - what do you think?
Totally, the suede underside of my Elegia got a little stained in no time, they're now covered!- OceansRise

Focal Elegia - what do you think?
Only difference I noticed going balanced is an increase in volume and as they're so easy to drive, I don't think balanced is required at all. Pads make a huge difference to the tuning and I find it much more agreeable to my tastes with the Dekoni Custom pads. With stock pads I find the Elegia...- OceansRise

Sadly we lost our tuxedo girl, Colby last year at the age of 21. She was the smoochiest kitty ever... although she was quite wild as a kitten! Then just 2 months ago we lost our Scottish Fold boy, Kami at 17. He was the gentlest boy and really was my best mate and I'm still missing him...- OceansRise

Astell&Kern A&Ultima SP2000T Impressions Thread
Has anyone experienced the issue of the embedded Tidal app throwing the authentication error mentioned in my previous post? I factory reset the unit and the same issue arose, the app doesn't even start, it just goes straight to the error. Am I even missing anything using the downloaded version...- OceansRise

Focal Elegia - what do you think?
I was never fond of my Elegia with the stock pads. After having read a few peeps recommending the Dekoni Custom Stellia pads on this forum, I picked a pair up a couple of months back. They've completely transformed these headphones for me, I find myself often reaching for them now!- OceansRise

Astell&Kern A&Ultima SP2000T Impressions Thread
I've had my SP2000T for a few weeks now and I've been using it exclusively with tracks on the MicroSD card. I thought I'd give Tidal a try and whilst the downloaded version seems to work ok, the embedded version produces an error "Authentication failed net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED" followed by...- OceansRise

What's your favorite fatigue-free, laid back, natural and spacious sounding headphone at any price?
Whilst I don't own them, I've auditioned them a few times and I'd add these in with the LCD-3 and HD600 I mentioned as fitting the bill.- OceansRise

Probably either LCD-3 or HD600. I find them both quite laid back and non-fatiguing.- OceansRise

New Member Introductions thread
Hello all, I've been lurking for quite some time so thought I should join the community properly. My name's Rich and I've been into Head-Fi for about 4-5 years now, although it's become more of a serious addiction hobby the last couple of years! I look forward to further reading all the...- OceansRise
