IEM advice for e4c fan
Bump! Also under consideration are the Brainwavz B2s. Dual BA drivers for under £100 seems reasonable.- bogalog

IEM advice for e4c fan
Hi all, it's been a while since I've been on here and my decent IEMs have finally died I've previously had the e4c and the se530s and I loved them both in different ways. Anyway, my se530s seem to have died (one about 20% quieter than the other which is annoying), and my e4c's have cracked...- bogalog

Yeh, the se530s would be the logical choice, seeing as i like the shure sound, and want more bass. I'm just really worried about yet another problem with the cable, which is why the triple.fis are appealing to me as much as they are- bogalog

thanks for the recommendation, have you heard the triple.fis to compare them to the e4cs? My cable cracked over the ear after about 11months, may have started cracking earlier and i didnt notice I know the e4cs probably have enough bass, but i just want more for the types of music i listen...- bogalog

upgrade from e4c
Well, the cable is cracked on my e4cs, and i was wondering if people here could point me towards an upgrade You did a fine job recommending the e4cs, but i want a better pair now, mainly for more bass if i'm honest. Anyway, i mostly listen to drum and bass atm (i know, i know), and some...- bogalog

Low fidelity, where did you buy your black foamies from? Just trying to find the best place to buy them ill email them then coolpepper, and see what they say, though to be honest, after listening to my e4gs, i dont really like to use my e2cs anymore. e4 is the "pro" version of the e4c, it is...- bogalog

upgrade from shure e2cs
Ok, I'm very happy with my e4gs, and have found the foam sleeves to be the most comfortable. I'm interested in the new dark coloured foam sleeves that come with the SE series, and would like to support the forum by ordering from a sponsor of the site. I tried looking on the shure site via the...- bogalog

The E4G is exactly the same model, but with a shorter cable by about 6 inches, and black in colour. I would very much recommend the E4C, but I have had no experience with the DT880, so cant really help with your 2nd question.- bogalog

upgrade from shure e2cs
E4gs arrived yesterday, and I am very pleased with them so far. I listened to them for a while, then switched back to e2cs and there is such a difference in the mids it's unbelievable. Thanks for the responses, I am very pleased- bogalog

the problem is that i bought them off ebay, and i think they came from america As far as i can see on the shure website, i need to provide proof of purchase, which i don't have. If this is wrong, I would probably send them back, and get new ones, but I am still interested in upgrading- bogalog

i realise that se310s might be the best, but I don't think I can afford them at the moment, or anytime in the near future. I am interested in the e4cs, and would consider stretching my wallet to afford them, but i am concerned that they may not be driven well by my EU iPod nano. Does anyone...- bogalog

Hey everyone, I've skulked around the forums a bit, but its my first time posting, so be gentle! Like many others i have found, I want to upgrade from my e2cs, mainly due to the wire that goes over the ear cracking. I have enjoyed the sound from the e2cs, and havent heard anything better, and...- bogalog
