    Over ear headphones £50

I can't find any of them in the UK without paying quite a premium price.

    Over ear headphones £50

Need a good comfy pair of headphones that go over the ear, have good bass and vocals. Cord should not be too long and definitely not coiled, if it is then the cord should be replaceable. Any recommendations? Thanks.

Sound quality: JVC HA-S500 vs JVC HP-RX900

Quote:   Thanks! I guess I will go with the RX900. This is for home use, I guess the RX900 is too big to take out. What is the difference in comfort like between the two?

Sound quality: JVC HA-S500 vs JVC HP-RX900

Two different headphones, one over and the other on the ear. Assuming one can get both for the same price, which is the best for all round sound quality?

Best over ear headphone £50 ($80)

I am looking for a pair of comfortable headphones which sound nice with voices (for movies), rock, electronic and chill groove. So far I've come to the conclusion that the Creative Aurvana Live fits the bill. Any other ideas? Oh yeah, I love my bass!

    Upgrade from EP-630

Quote:   Thanks for your recommendation. The SHE ones you recommended all seem still quite low end, I wouldn't imagine them being any better than the EP-630. And the ATH-CKM500 I can only find on ebay, and they're a bit expensive.

    Upgrade from EP-630

I really like the sound of the Creative EP-630, but unfortunately they always end up breaking in under a year. Also they sound quite high pitched and generally unpleasant are really high volumes. But still, I really like the clearity of the sound, and was wondering what sort of headphones have...

    M9P Distorted Sound

Quote: Best idea yet, but it will cost a lot to send back, and they don't refund postage. Will having the mic button held down by something be find for the headphone's health?

    M9P Distorted Sound

Quote:   That's a good idea, but I'd rather return it. And yeah, recabling is out of the question, lol. I've found a way to keep the mic button held down, will this in any way damage the earphones?

    M9P Distorted Sound

So I should just return this, unless there is a way to disable the mic.

    M9P Distorted Sound

Quote: Thanks, it seems to be working as normal when I hold the mic button down, why's that happening? What should I do?

    M9P Distorted Sound

I'm so fustrated right now, I waited so long excitedly for my M9Ps to arrive, only to plug them into my MP3 and phone to find great distortion in the sound. They work fine when I plug them in my computer, but as soon as I plug them in my android phone or zen vision m the sound is heavily...

    Help finding cheap earphones

My terrible UE 220s recently obrke and was fully refunded my £18, which I'm very happy about. They were totally not worth it, I much preferred the sound and comfort of Creative's EP630, so I was considering buying that again. But since I'm willing to spend a bit more than £10, up to £20 no...

    Replacement for EP-630

Quote: Lol, not really... btw, nice Stark avatar. The JVC FX300 look really good, but are out of my price range for earphones.   I want to get the UE Metro-Fi 220 but don't know if they are better than the EP630/CX300.

    Replacement for EP-630

Quote:   The M9s are $37 with postage, and I'd have to import them. The UE Metro-Fi 220 seem like much better value at $26 and I don't have to import, plus there's a 2 year limited warranty with it.

    Replacement for EP-630

Strongly considering the UE Metro-Fi 220 because of the price, is it a step up from the EP630 and CX300?

    Replacement for EP-630

I've been through numerous pairs of these EP630s, now I'm ready to move on. I really liked the EP630's sound, although there wasn't enough bass, it's built really weak and just breaks easily. I'm now looking at the $20-$30 range for an IEM with better sound and build quality and is available in...
